Official Description
Water and light are the symbols of this festival which, in recent years, has been impressively renewed with the organization of the Fira de l'Aixada. In this festival, which is celebrated on Saturday and Sunday around the Festival of Lights, the old neighborhood of Manresa is filled with artisans, masters of ancient trades who demonstrate their arts, tightrope walkers, minstrels and other elements and attractions of the medieval repertoire. The streets full of bustle, set and decorated as if we were back in the 14th century, the smells and the music of another time transport the visitor to the very heart of a very lively popular festival, full of activities, for for children and adults, and with constant surprises.
