Official Description
In just a few years, the Súria Medieval Crafts Fair has become one of the most outstanding activities in the Bages festive calendar, with stallholders, artisans of traditional crafts, workshops and numerous attractions for all visitors to the Old Town, one of the best-preserved old towns in Catalonia. The first edition of the Fair took place in November 2002.
The Medieval Crafts Fair is characterized by the high presence of local organizations and by the wide range of participatory activities for visitors, such as workshops and street performances (dances, fables, songs, minstrels and knights). Since the first edition, the organization has been committed to the quality of the stallholders and the street shows in order to guarantee maximum historical rigor and the quality of the contest.
